Smartforms issue to print sales orders

I have maintened a smartform and a program to print my sales orders.

When I am making the sales order, I can see the print preview though when I press the print buttin there is no output in the printed.

Any suggestions?

In SP02 u will be having so many spool requests.there u select ur request and click on the option direct print.After dat click on refresh button.and try once with SAP-LPR printer.

I have also noticed that when in the transaciotn "smartforms" I managed to print this form using the test function module and it gets printed without any problem

what is the error that u are getting

are u getting teh SAP LPD pop up.

what is it showing the error as

are u getting the preview correctly.

Either it is problem of ur device setting or printer setting.

Just do once ur printer using in time of print tab pressing as LOCL or LP01 and check the checkbox s tick as immedeate printing.

Hope this will help to resolve ur issue.

And if you print against a real SAP printer, is it working then?

Can you print any other output type on LOCL printer from your PC?

If you cant print on LOCL printer from your Pc, but if it possibel from another PC,

In that case it could be your SAP gui or you own printer setting on you own PC.

check your output type , the form name and type of medium like print or fax then you can try to print...

We are using the device type SWIN to print. We have ckecked some sapscripts and they are geting printed without problem. My problem is with one smartform that is using the format DINA4 (that exists in the system and is connected to SWIN). The output when I try to print are send correctly to the spooler (sp01) but there is no output in the print device.

Hi,

Check if the page format is available for the printer you are using. Check the device type it is assigned to and the printer is configured properly or not.
