Currently it is not on the roadmap, but the connectivity from xMII to RFID was showcased at DKOM'06 - in the Demo Jam session. It was one of the 6 showcased by Jochen Rode.
I recently attended the MESA conference in Orlando, FL and came across a SAP partner company that specilizes in RFID integration with AII. The company is called PEAK Technologies and in talking with the people at the booth I found out that their currently solution on the plant floor is to communicate directly with XI at the corporate level for feeding information into AII. After some further probing into their product it appears that xMII could be leveraged to merge PEAK information with plant data and still communicate with XI and AII. Just some food for thought.
