How to set summer time mode to time slot of the communication channel

Hi Gurus

I have a communication channel using FTP adapter in XI scenario. The customer required it is only active between 13:00 pm to 14:00 pm. The restriction is realized by setting a time slot in RWB of the communication channel. However when the summer time is coming next year, this time period will be adjusted for one hour in advance in the RWB.

I wonder is there any configuration in XI to deal with this conversion between winter time and summer time to the adapter so that the modification needs not to be done each year in the production system?

Hi,

This scheduled execution you can achieve with Availability times setting in Communication channel but to change this summer and winter timing I guess you need to do it mannually.

check Communication Channel Availability planning. there u can create schduling and exclude certain period. u can use it and plan it accordingly.

I think it is not possible to change time automatically. You have to change scheduling time manually.
