Shipping point,Route determination not possible in VA01

Hi all,

I have maintained the shipping point determination criteria based on shipping condition , plant . Loading group is not maintained.

While creating sales order , the shipping point determination is not happening...

Can anyone plz guide how this can be solved.

Also Route determination condition is maintained based on departure,receiving Zone.

Route id is also not being determined..

Hi Ameya

The loading group is also required to determine the shipping point. so please maintin it and then check

for the route detremination all the determination, in the tab route determination without wieght group(order)

,maintain the shipping conditions + transportation group = route

this should help in getting route determined

If you don't maintain loading group shipping point will not get detrmine because..

Shipping point will get determined based on this combination

SHIPPING CONDITIONS(FROM CUSTOMER MASTER)LOADING GROUP(FROM MATERIAL MASTER)PLANT (FROM material master or you can enter maually in the sales order)---->SHIPPING POINT.

You can check these settings in the OVL2 transaction.Maintain proper settings in OVL2

Check have maintained shipping conditions in the Customer master sales area data-->Shipping Tab

Check have you maintained Loading group for that material in the material master -->sales :General/Plant tab.

Make sure that you have maintained delivering plant in the sales order.

Regarding Route determination you just check these settings in the IMG

IMG>Logistics Execution>Shipping>Basic shipping functions>Routes--->Route Determination

Define Transportation Zones

Maintain Country And Transportation Zone For Shipping Point

Define Transportation Groups

Define Weight Groups

Maintain Route Determination -->Route Determination Without Weight Group (Order) or Route Determination with Weight Group (Delivery).

Route will get determine two ways based on these combinations.

Depature Zone(from Shipping pouint)Destination Zone(Ship to party transportation Zone)Shipping conditions(from Customer master)+Transportation group(From material master)--->Route

Depature ZoneDestination ZoneShipping conditionsTransportation groupWeight group--->Route

Please check the master data have you maintaoned proper data or not.

Customer master for shipping conditions(Sales area data >shipping Tab) and transportation Zone(Generall data>address tab)

If ship to party is different you check the ship to party master data also

Material Master for Transportation group.(Sales:General/Plant view)

Hi Ameya,

Please maintain all the data first in master record so that system can perform checks properly.

If you wont maintain any of the one thing then it wont determine shipping point.

So store shipping condition in customer master, plant also in customer master, loading grp in material master.

Now try to create sales order and you will find shipping point will be determined.

Regarding the route, generally routes are not determined automatically in sales order.

You have to manually put it. It will be determined in delivery document automatically.

If you want it should determine automatically then you have to write user exit for this.

Please mention the reason for not maintaining all the required parameters. Are you doing it for testing the functionality or doing it specifically based on your requirement. Please explain.
