BOM Pricing Issues

We have quite a few BOMs to handle our item kits. I have been doing some testing and found that when the price changes for an item the BOM does not reflect this change. It seems to hold on to whatever pricing was when it was created. Is there a way to have this more dynamic? Our pricing changes almost monthly.

Monica, Pricing will not automatically update in sales doc unless you "Update Pricing". there are some mechanism to do this, but you will need to do some "Mapping" of the VK11/12 price updates to the sales docs that will be affected.

I assume you are talking about existing Sales docs (quotes, sales orders) , which you then later update VK11/12 price records for?

I was talking about the pricing in the BOMs. I had meant to post this in the SAP Business One area. Once I did my search there I found an answer. Much like the sales docs it doesn't update automatically. But there is a tool built in that will allow me to go through and update the parent items in the BOM as a batch.
