SRM Vendor Replication Error - Transport Zones

Hi everyone,

We are implementing SRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0. When replicating the vendors from the ECC system into SRM using BBPGETVD and running the job BBP_VENDOR_SYNC we are getting a few errors for vendors with transportation zones maintained.

For example:

Error while creating Business Partner Module: BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA Vendor. The transport zone TX201238 is not defined for country US.

The problem is that a few of our vendors have transportation zones maintained in ECC. We know how to fix the problem, by maintaining the Transportation zones manually in SRM. But we would NOT like to maintain transport zones in both ECC and SRM systems.

Does anyone know a way to bypass this? We would like the vendors to replicate, but to skip the transportation zone in SRM. We have no need for this in SRM. Please help.
