Solution Manager installation

We have R/3 46c landscape installed on 32-bit windows.

We want to install Solution Manager 7 on 64-bit Windows and configure

central system monitoring, maintenance optimizer, etc.

Can you please let us know if there will be any issues with communicatio

n

between 32-bit R/3 46c and 64-bit Solution manager?

Hi,

as far as I know the only problem that occurs is if (during the maintenance of the RFC-destinations from your satellite (4.6C) system to the Solution Manager) the password is given in lower case a logon to the SolMan might not be possible because of internal lower case / upper case conversion.

But apart from this there is no known feature. I put several 4.6C systems to SolMan in the past and had no other problems.
