Hi All,
I need to create 3000 transportation zones. Manually it is very difficult so I was trying through SCAT.
But it is not working.
Is it possible to use SCAT for SPRO transaction also?
If not is there any other way?
Thanks & Regards
Sonalika
Hi,
There is no error in reading the txt file. The file is read correctly and all the steps are working fine. Only when we go to Batch Input session it is giving an error. System is able to detect till first screen of SPRO but beyond that the processing stops and system gives an error.
Thanks & Regards

Dear Sonalika,
Check Point: File ype must be "Tab Delimited".
Do recording again using the said screen & then try uploading data (in File Format: Tab Delimited) using LSMW.
I hope, following links (along with examples), help you to ovecome with your problem
[LSMW - Steps|http://www.sap-img.com/general/lsmw-steps-for-data-migration.htm]
[LSMW - Example|http://www.sapmaterial.com/lsmw.html]
Altenatively, You may go for BDC-Program Upload.

Amit

Please suggest if any other way is there for SPRO transactions.
Thanks & Regards

Dear Sonalika
This type of error will normally come when you maintain some data in the text file for which, you would not have maintained while creating this recording.
Ensure that the excel which you have downloaded from the recording is same as the text file you uploaded in LSMW.

Dear Sonalika
The best option would be LSMW

Dear Sonalika,
Are you working on to ECC 6.0?
If so,
SCAT can no longer be used in ECC 6.0 and higher to record scripts, you can still use any old ones though, but you will have to use SECATT going forward.
Alternatively, You may use: LSMW

Amit
