Hi,

cost of material comes from material master data ( accounting tab)

To view the cost in sales order, activate the determine cost field in item category.

cost of material will be stored in VPRS condition type. Maintain this conditon type in pricing procedure (statistical)

You can see this in sales order item conditions, price of the material PR00.

Chandra

Hi,

Thanks for your kind response.

Is there any way of comparing the cost and price ex: PR00 and VPRS in Sales Order Level?

If using VOFM ,then what will be the logic.

hi,

If you want to know the what is the profit by comparing between cost of the material and selling price of the material, then you can have a seperate subtotal called Profit margin.

in pricing procedure maintain a new subtotal as 'Profit Margin ' and maintain 'Alt calculation type'' as 11.

along with the above mentioned VPRS configuration steps.

Hi,

Use profit margin in your pricing procedure. It shows profit(price-cost). Use this component end of pricing procedure and calculation type is 11.

you can compare the price and cost at sales order level, profit margin is only informative component. It will not update accounts.

Dear RK

Have the condition type VPRS in your pricing procedure apart from PR00. Also in pricing procedure, maintain "B" under Subtotal and "4" under "Reqt".

Now in sale order, you can see both the selling price and the respective cost of the material.

thanks
