PROMAN gives information related to procurement documents assigend to WBS elements & Network activities.

Tcode:CNMM: to personalize the view in PROMAN reporting you can configure an Exception Profile, which is attached to a PROMAN Profile.

PROMAN is one screen solution to handle all procurement related details, materials as well as services.

you can access to various documents generated for procurement, get stock details, access documents relevant to the materials.

PROMAN Profile: which docs should be read from database.

Exception Profile: where you can define when traffic lights should appear in execptional situations.

E.G: If a P.O exists, a green light will show, but if GR has not been posted, a red light .

The combinations are many & can be customized to suit your bussiness environment.

Hopw u will understand the profile.

Dear Chandra,

PROMAN means Project-Oriented Procurement.

It is basically a tool that helps you to carry out project oriented procurement. It enables you to access data in SAP PS,purchasing, production, requirements planning, and inventory management.

Procurement related information from these components is structured in ProMan and displayed in summarized form.Individual steps in the procurement process, such as creating reservations,PR,PO,entering deliveries from projects, goods issue,or balanjce sheet transfers can be carried out through ProMan.The status and progress of internal & enternal procurement process can be monitored and controlled during a transaction.

you use procurement process for your materail or services for a project, this results in whole range of logistical data in SAP PS, purchsing, production, shipping so on. You can use CNMM txn to evaluate this data centrally. In this txn traffic lights indicates exeptional situations ex. overdeu of purchse order for the missing materail sotck etc.

When you call ProMan, You first specify the project for which you want to anlayse procurement measures.

To enable the data from PR/ PO to be analysed in PRO man, youi must link these objects to the selected project. Data for mthe porject realted dependent requirement also can be analysed in PROMAN if that porduction order has link to project.

This arethe view ofr PROMAN.

Components

Activities /Elements

ORDER/ Documents :PR/ PO , Planed order and production order etc.

Quantities : qunatities in POR/ PR & planned & prodution / pllnaed order

Dates ; requirement dates /dates in PR/PO etc.

Stock : unrestricted stock / quality in inspection 7 blocked stock.

Delivery : reservation no., delivery quantityetc.

In addtion to analysing data you can use PROMAN to execute diff. procurement task.

like as generatePR/ reservations / PO

Perfrom planning run.

Group PR.

Post good receipt & issue

make transfer between stock types

generate deliveries

After you execute the funcations in PROMAN, you can refresh the views & check the result of the functions directly in proman.

Customisation : Profman profile ( to control which document / order are read by the database & whihc views you want to display in PROMAN ) & exception profile ( it define when you wnat relevetn traffic lights )
