Hello,
is it possible to customize (or use e.g. Screen variant or Variant transaction?)
the sales document header screen (SAPMV45A - 4001?) to show additional fields
(e.g. Coll. No VBAK-SUBMI)?

there was an inaccuracy in my Q: the correct screen number is 4021 (not 4001).
The intention is just to add a field, not a (sub-) screen.

I am afraid, You can not pass-on new entry (Field) on to main screen, either 4001 or 4003 or even 4021.
The same needs to be added in to sub-screen, (T. Code: SE51 - Screen Painter for Program - SAPMV45A) and activate it.

Note: Expand the table VBAK/ VBKD (as desired) with the field where the field value should be stored.
Also, check for Sub-screen for Main Screen - 4021 (I am unable to access SAP right now).

4003 - 8459

Thank you for commenting, I was now able to create the Screen & Transaction variant using screen 4440, where the Collective no is visible.
