what is the difference between exports and merchandise exports

a) Direct Exports

The products manufactured by you directly exported to another end customer in an overseas country. Whatever profit earned in this transaction will be accounted in your name.

b) Merchant Exports

Merchant Exporters will buy the local firm's goods outright and assume the risk of being able to resell them profitably abroad.

The Merchant Exporters usually specializes in a particular line of products and/or in a particular geographical market area. Sometime it sells the goods with the original supplier's labels or puts its own label.
