The function module not released for 'remote' calls.

Hi all,

When i am trying to Import a RFC(SAPR/3) from XISERVER the following error we r getting <b>The function module "DD_LANGU_TO_ISOLA" not released for 'remote' calls.</b>... But Same import worked earlier, but at present this error we r getting...

When I checked the DD_LANGU_TO_ISOLA in SAP R/3 It was not a remote enabled...

And when i try to change it it was asking for Object Key... I dont understand why earlier it worked and now it was not working...

Appreciate u r solution ....

You need to make this remote enabled,There was a similar thread that i participated please see,

oss 717836.

Actually this happens after an upgrade generally, if it asks for a key and you are using a standard RFC, you need to create a wrapper over it.

Hi Sridhar,

copy the function module to your namespace ('Z') and change the copy to remote enable. May be you have to change parameters (check syntax) where to check "pass values" on.

Never change SAP objects with object key without a very good reason, coz there can be updated in new packages, what will give you very unexpected and diffult to solve problems.

It is (may be) not working any longer because a support package was imported?
