QM procurement key

hi

I want to activate Inspection type 01 and QM procurement Key Active with control key and certificate type for all semi finish material because some times client procure semi finish material directly from vendor instead of producing inhouse.already I have maintained inspection type 03 and 04 for all semi finish material;So if I maintained all 3 inspection type and QM procurement key for all semifinish material wether it wll create any problem or will work smoothly ?

Hi Vinay,

It will not create any problem after if you add 01 inspection type in QM procument. But please dont forgot to activate all the inspection type in the materialmaster. Then only it will be function.

No. It will not create any problem. QM control key will come into picture only when any procurment activity is done against a PO.

I think it is enough for this material to maintain these information in Masterial Master.

regarding inspection type:

01 Goods Receipt Inspection for Order

03 In-Process Insp. for Production Order

04 Final Inspection at GR from Production

It's fit for your requirement.
