Text Field Mandatory in delivery

Hi Friends,

I want to Make a text field Mandatory and it should not allow PGI without filling in the details.

I have configured the Text procedure and Marked the same as obligatory. But still it is allowing to do PGI.

In previous threads I could find some comments that we need to add the same in incompletion procedure. I find that for standard LF the incompletion procedure is K1. I am not sure what is the table/ Field/ Screen that needs to be added.

But when I am able to toogle in status Group 00 for Goods Movement is is perfectly stopping from PGI. Can some one throw light how Status Group 00 is linked to Texts.

The SAP note452913 may be applied to your case, depending on the SAP version you are working with.

Hi Krishna,

You can use User Exit FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT, In this user exit you can validate the PGI whether the Text field is maintained or not.
