XI messages in SXMB_MONI

Hi All,

We are facing the following problem in our XI system.

u201CSender Communication channel is picking the file from the folder, but we are not able to see any messages in SXMB_MONI. And the file is not reaching the target system.u201D Also some unwanted messages are seen in SXMB_MONI.

Can anyone throw some light on it, so that the communication can be done.

Any troubleshooting guides on this?

Hi,

check the status of sender and receiver comm. channel in RWB-comm. channel monitoring to figure out the error.

Please Check in Environment in ID whether their is any cache notification in red or not. Check for the last time you did the change in notification period and if their are cache updates pending refresh manually.

But as you said you have nade channels inactive so it sould appear in the RWB for particular channel.

Hi Hemant,

All of them are in green. Manually the transfer of files is happening from Adapter engine to IE. but we want it to happen automatically and delete this old scenario.

The scenario is already deleted but still we are getting messages with system error.

And a newly created one is not able to get transmitted and the files are not able to pick-up.

Hi BASIS

go to RWB-> adapter engine -> Comunication channel and there stop the channel related to the scenario for which you do not want to execute the message

once the channel is stopped files will not be picked up

Hi All,

Thanks for the info.

We have deleted the scenario error_mail, but still it is executing and we getting messages in sxmb_moni. How to disable all these and stop executing the sceanrio. Is this anything related to background jobs?

Also we saw that the message is reaching till adapter engine but not to integration engine.

Please let me know how to resolve.

If the file is process successfully then you can find out the messaid in the RWB-> Component MOnitoring-> Communication Channel.

Click on link you can get the message processing log details.

And also check the Message Monitoring in RWB work bench whether is there any System errors?

Check queues in SMQ1.

Do the full cache refresh and check once again.

Hi,

Check the Sender communication channel in RWB.

Also check the ID configuration details for the communication channel.

Check the file name specified, because yo might have given the same file name for the scenarios you might have configured that is the reason, a scenario without the particular input is working.

Also check the processing mode whether it is delete or in Test mode, if it is test mode then only the scenario exectues continuously. SO make it as test mode.

If the File is picking from folder and not coming to XI means.

First u need to check,

1) SMQ1- Outbound queue: is their any queues are struck and it can related to ur message.

2) Check RWBComponent Monitoring-Communication Channel Monitoring--Here u can find the error,

3) check ur FTP Connection ,is FTP server working properly or not.

Hi All,

Thank you for all the inputs.

The unnecessary messages which I mean was, the following:

"One of developed scenario is working without give any input. We have deactivated that scenario, but it is executing continuously and we are getting messages in SXMB_MONI window."

"For testing we have deleted that scenario in DEV server, after deletion also we are getting message in SXMB_MONI. We have cleared cache, buffer etc., on development level, but still problem is same."

Please let me know where can I check. The problem is I dont know much on these scenarios and testing these.

Hi,

Please check again if some other scenario using these interfaces,mappings if not then do full cache refresh with PIDIRUSER http://<XIHost>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full. If still this error persists then restart the server.

For the first error, as everyone suggested perform monitoring in RWB.

Also some unwanted messages are seen in SXMB_MONI.

What do you mean by that? Isn't there any other scenario working? Check for the sender interface and namespace column and you will understand where exactly it is coming from.

Hi

Check with the communication channel monitoring in RWB. Audit log should provide information on the file. Sometimes the system from where you pick the file have constraints for Access/User/Certificates for data movement. Make sure directory from where you are picking file is not having any issue on this.

Communication channel running in test mode for same location can be issue for this. Check on the same.

Use Channel Monitoring in RWB, Select your Sender CC and look detail log. Also select delete file option in Sender CC to check file is picking.

Might be any adapter is scheduled or anybody used test mode in File CC.

HI Basis,

Check your communication channel monitoring,whethere a message ID is created or not.

If message id created after the file picked up,then check in SXMB_MONI whethere messgae id is there not.

If messgae ID is present then OK or else you have to check you Sender aggremenet,Receiver determination once again.
