Hi,

What is the purpose of maintaining Price List and what is the tcode to maintain it.

Is it just a Pricing report or a Master Record.

For your information:

Price list

A register that is valid over a specific length of time and contains the catalog numbers and current prices of products.

1. you can list material prices for a certain sales area + customer + plant combination

2. you can further restrict the price list on the basis of pricing date, item category, etc.

This is Master data

You can create pricelist through VK31 transaction

Go to VK31 transaction then click on prices-->Price list

Use

You can define price list types according to the needs of your own organization. Price list types can be grouped according to:

the kind of price list (for example, wholesale or retail)

the currency in which the price appears

the number of the price list type

You can use price list types to apply conditions during pricing or to generate statistics.

V-46 - Change Price list

V-47 - Display Price list

This is the masterdata.
