TCODE for WDA

Hi all,

Can i create a TCODE for calling Web Dynpro Application? In case I want a user to reach a WDA by enter a TCODE as the same way as a user reach a report or any other things thru TCODE.

If my question is not clear, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Yes you can create a TCODE to Web Dynpro Application.But it should be type of parameter transaction type.Check the following document for procedure.

Hello Peerasit Jomsri,

Yes, you can create a TCODE for WDA.

To Create a Transaction code for a Web Dynpro application, use Transaction SE93 (Transaction Maintenance).

1.Enter the transaction code(Z name space) then click on Create button.

2.A dialog pop up screen appears, enter meaningful description of the transaction in the Short Text field.

3.Choose the option Transaction with parameters (Parameter transaction).

4.Choose Continue. The Create Parameter Transaction screen appears.

5.In the Transaction field, enter WDYID and select the checkbox Skip initial screen. There is no need to make changes in the Classification group box.

6.Add the necessary entries to the Default Values table Name of Screen Field as: Application and Value as: your WD application name --> CLick Save and execute the TCODE now.
