Opatch execution

Hi,

Suddenly opatch execution is not working , after applying nearly 35 patches , it is not working , here are the details.

When i run opatch apply as below nothing comes up, there is no error message

host:ora<SID 5> cd 5358803

host:ora<SID 6> $ORACLE_HOME/OPatch/opatch apply

host:ora<SID 7>

I have checked the ORACLE_HOME, tried to log off and log in again but still the same.

please help.

what´s the output of the two commands

ls -l $ORACLE_HOME/Opatch/opatch

file $ORACLE_HOME/Opatch/opatch

Hai,

Check the logs,

OPatch writes all actions to a log file.

Unix: $ORACLE_HOME/.patch_storage/<patch_id_>/<logfile>

NT: %ORACLE_HOME%\.patch_storage\<patch_id_>\<logfile>

Also check whether any process or services (windows) related to ORACLE_HOME is running.

Check the environment variables.

Check SAP Note 306408 for reference.

Did you apply patch for Opatch it self, check the readme for the patch which ur applying.
