Carrier Name for a Shipment

Hi,

Through what table/tables can we obtain the carrier name for a shipment?

Dear Jhon,

The Carrier(Farwardin agent)code we can maintain in the sales order it self from the sales order it will copy to delivery in the delivery if ypu want you can change the carrier code.Carrier code will be maintained in the partners tab of the documents.

Even you can enter forwarding agent directly in the shipment document also.

If you want to copy the forwarding agent From the delivery to the shipment document then you need to miantain the copying Routine 1 Forwarding agent in the shipment document type details screen in Copy Routine field.

If you enter Carrier directly in the shipment document then system will pick the carrier data from Master data table.

Forwarding agent master data tables are LFA1 and LFB1

If you are copying from the delivery you can check with the LIKP table
