Please guide me how to create Nested Handling Unit?

Hi Experts,

Please guide me how to create Nested Handling Unit?

Any function module or BAPI?

My case is we need to pack exsting handling units into new handling unit(Nested HU)

Normally this is done through Standard Transaction 'HU02'.

PLEASE EXPLAIN WITH PROPER EXAMPLE that will be good for me.

I tried 'BAPI_HU_CREATE' but this bapi creates all new hu's in nest but i want existing HU to be packed in new nested HU.

Hi,

My knowledge about handling unit management is very poor...so I can give only this advice:

1. Create a HU (pack a material). E.g you create HUA (trx HU02)

2. Create a new, empty HU (write only the packaging material in HU02 on "Pack material" tab) > so, HUB is created

3. HU02 > Singel entry tab > Write the ID of empty handling unit (HUB) in the first field ("Handling unit", in "Handling unit" section) and write the ID of "normal" handling unit (HUA) in the last field ("Handling unit" field in "Hnadling unit contents" section).

4. Push enter.

5. Save

(Please set your master data properly to be able to execute the steps mentioned above)
