Hi there,
before I start, I thought I'd ask the technical question here: are there any (known) limitations as to what kind of processor type the sneak preview runs on, as long as the requirements for operating system are fulfilled?
The reason for my question is a sick desire to try installing the sneak preview on my newly acquired HP 2133 mininote, which has the Via-C processor instead of an Intel or AMD. Op system is currently Vista, which I'd have to downgrade to XP Pro; apart from that, I've 2Gb of RAM and more than 100 Gb of disk space.
Does any technical guru know of such a limitation? If so, I'd be glad to hear. If not, I may soon find myself armed with the world's smallest SAP system... possibly also the slowest
Hello Trond,
system requirements for SAP trial version:
...
- At least 1 GB RAM
- Intel Pentium III/1.1 GHz or higher (or compatible)
...
I suppose if Vista is running with your Via-C processor, so the processor is compatible.
Bye,
Peter
