Updating the CIM model (HOW)

Dear Experts,

There was a problem with the installation of Netweaver DI 7.0, whereby the SMD instance didnot start up. Later I found out in note 1108852 that CIM model has to be updated to 1.5.26 or above.

Can you guys please give some ideas on how can I do the update of CIM model?

I want to know where can I get it and how I can update it.

Hi,

You just need to open the SLD and go to Adminstration and then to import the current CIM model located under SAP CR CONTENT UP TO 2008 and has the file name cimsap..zip.

It's always advisable to read the note mentioned in the above message.
