CCMS Configuration.

Dear All,

I have installed Solution Manager Server(7.0) and i wanted to configured CCMS Monitoring for my SAP system landscape like Dev/Qa/PRD.

Can anybody provide me help on this?

I have small doubt, Is it required to do some customization settings in SPRO transaction for configuring CCMS or Maitaninance Optimizer?

Please explain me where sould i user SPRO customization?

How can you link CCMS with Maintenance Optimizer??!!

CCMS doesn't require SPRO configuration. SPRO customization is done when you go for your specific scenarios like servicedesk, charm etc...

First elaborate your requirement.

Hello Venkat,

Before going ahead i would suggest you to check ST-PI and ST-API patch levels in your Dev system

If they are not at latest level apply the latest ST-PI and ST-API patches.

After applying patches please run RTCCTOOL program(SE38) which is used as service preperation check.

once you are done with that please install CCMS agents in your satellite(D Q & P ) system.

after applying agents you can go ahead and activate CCMS monitoring.
