In CJ20N, the project is getting displayed under display mode. How to overcome this so that I can edit the Project.

top ledt there is a display change button
if you click that you should be ok
No, that's not working...Any inputs further?
Completely Come out of Txn Cj20n . Once again call txn CJ20n after opening your project click on the left button ( shift +F1)

Some one must be accessing the same project or may be locked. If it loacked then u can remove the locked entries by runing SM12 and with User name filed as blank and see if ur project is locked. If there is a entry please delete it.
