Hi experts,

in my production server i am having windos 2003 with orcale database ECC 6.0 .having 4gb ram and

c: (on drive 0) 20.97 GB

e: (on drive 1) 53.48 GB

f: (on drive 1) 53.48 GB

g: (on drive 1) 53.48 GB

h: (on drive 1) 53.48 GB

i: (on drive 1) 53.48 GB

j: (on drive 1) 53.48 GB

k: (on drive 1) 53.48 GB

there are two application server

1st sappro_MRP_00

2nd sapapps_MRP_01

now only we are using in delhi having only 14 user now managment wants it to roll out for noida for 10 user also...

so my requriment is what figure i have to take care related to space as well as memory .....

when i run t-code DB02 then i found table space

Total number = 7

Total size/kb =125.235.200

Total free/kb =24.374.272 19 %

Minimum free/kb =11.648

Max. autoextensible/kb =413.696.000

Tables & Indexes

tables / indexes

Total number = 69.024 / 82.571

Total size/kb = 31.925.056 / 39.623.040

More than 1 extent = 2.856 / 3.400

Missing in database = 0 / 0

Missing in R/3 DDIC = 0 / 0

Space-critical objects = 0 / 0

production server having 10 dialog work process, 4 batch work process ,2 upd wp,1enq,3 spo & 2 upd workprocess.

These are the parameter for sappro_MRP_00

1. ztta/roll_area = 15000000 Byte

2. ztta/roll_first = 1 Byte

3. ztta/short_area = 3200000 Byte

4. rdisp/ROLL_SHM = 6200 8 kB

5. rdisp/PG_SHM =8192 8 kB

6. rdisp/PG_LOCAL = 150 8 kB

7. em/initial_size_MB =1200 MB

8. em/blocksize_KB = 1024 kB

9. em/address_space_MB = 512 MB

10. ztta/roll_extension =500000000 Byte

11. abap/heap_area_dia = 5635068480 Byte

12. abap/heap_area_nondia = 5635068480 Byte

13. abap/heap_area_total = 1500000000 Byte

14. abap/heaplimit = 40000000 Byte

15. abap/use_paging = 0

splitting one disk drive into 7 volumes?

just wasting driveletters? you have only 25 of them!

Let me see if I got this, your prod server is being used by 14 users and 10 more users will be using the application. Am I correct?

If you have 10 dialog process you could have a lot more than 24 users so don´t worry about RAM or parameters. About disk space you don´t need anything more, they will just create a little more transactions but that is not enough to create concerns at all looking at the free space the system has.
