CJ40 - error when calculating the higher-level WBS element cost plan value

Hi,

For some projets and some WBS elements, the total of the planned values of the lower-level WBS elements do not agree with the distributed value of the higher-level WBS element.

For example, if I had an amount of 39,767.75 $ for WBS element D1137B.03.01.17 and then I decide to replace this amount with an amount of 0.00$, then the WBS element D1137B will not be reduce by the amount of 39,767.75. I did Edit --> total up, but still the value of the WBS element stays the same.

I looked at SAP note 185309 so I executed program BPDIST00 with t-code SE38 and I did CJEN but still, I'm not able to have correct values for the higher WBS element....

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.

Julien

Hi,

Plz check you have created the child wbs elements with proper hierarchy level.

Means if the parent and child wbs element is having same level, then there may be some issue and in that case it ll not show the desired result.

I think it ll helpful.

Not helpful at all.. it's the first thing I double checked.

Here's the solution:

You have to execute CJEN and check the «check box» Delete.

Then, you have to uncheck the «PE» (planning element) «check box» in CJ02 for the higher WBS elements.

Now, the total up function will work, even for the lowest WBS elements.
