Hi all!

Is it possible to get an automatic message dialog for entering a note when the user creates a new version like the one that does appear when you change status?

Yes, you could add the status message to the initial creation status. This would mean that the moment a user creates a new document the status message appears.

If you are looking to use this to specify the reason for creating the document, you could use changed masters to do this.

Could you please specify what you mean with changed masters? I searched for it but I couldnu2019t find anything.

Regarding the log field, is it possible to set a requirement? I don't want to see the log field when version 00 is created. I just want to see it from version 01 and so on.

hi,

u can meet ur requirement with change master or ECM. Change master is used to mainitan some change approval in place and to record change / version. from CC01 u can create simple change master where u can get of log (cc05) of changed in document with referenece to change no.\
