Documentation on installing aditional application server ?

I need to install aditional application server, primary app server + db are already running.

Could someone suggest most suitable documentation for that ?

Well depends on your platforms the standard installation guide is available on serice marketplace.

but if you describe your OS in which you want to install the another application server then probably we can help you more.

Hello Villius,

Sorry i have no idea about AIX, i share with you my experince to install an application server procedure but it is on Linux.

1. Configure the machine and network so that it can be accessable from CI and DB.

2. Mount the /sapmnt/SID/profile on this machine

3. mount the installer files into this machine

3 Swap size should be 3 times physical memory

3 Start the installation of dialog instance.

I have added one application server with this procedure. but we are on ECC 6.0 with Oracle 10.2 and RHEL 5
