Hi Experts,
I am creating SO for sales area 1000,10,10 and four materials, for dist channels 10,20,30 and 40.
In this case systems is accepting only first material. Rest of all material systems is giving error.
I have done entry in OVR1. like
SO_____DC_____DC-Cond______DC-Cust/Mat
1000____10______10___________01
1000____20______20___________20
1000____30______30___________30
1000____40______40___________40
Would you tell me solution for this?
Prashant.
Hi prashant
So you have not maintained common dist. channel in VOR1 , if you have to maintain common dist channel then in DC-Cust/Mat maintain only dist channel 10 to make it common .But you have created material in 1000/10/10 sales area and not in other sales areas.so extend the material .then you wont get error when you create salesorder

hi,
You can create new division as "50" and name the same as common.
Go to OVR2 and assign all division 10,20,30,40 to common division 50.

Hi Prashant,
You can do things.
First you can go to MM01 and extend your material to all the four sales area
If you do this you wont be getting any error while creating sales order
Second thing you can do by common distribution channel.
SO_____DC_____DC-Cond______DC-Cust/Mat
1000____10______10___________10
1000____20______10___________10
1000____30______10___________10
1000____40______10___________10
Like this way you can do your distribution setting
There is one more setting about common division that also you have to do.
But you have not given any info about common division so I cant suggest you about that.
If still having problem then let me know

Hi Raj,
If i am doing assignments in Common dist channel then i am unable to create material for different dist channels. Also customer who is created for 02 is also not tacking at sales order.
Similarly i have created materials for different divisions, in sales order suppose 1000 10 10 and i am giving 15 different materials which are belongs to different division. here is also error comes.
Please give me solution for this problem.
Prashant.
Hi Prashant,
Just maintain your setting which you did for distribution channel.
You want to say that you have extended all the material and customer to all the sales area.
But you are not able to create order for different division some thing like that.
See if you do the assignment the way which I said then you wont have any track record according to distribution channel wise.
But if you extend your material to all of your distribution channel then you have record for all the distribution channel.
Eg. One sales organization 1000, 2 distribution 10 n 20, 2division 10 n 20.
So in total there is 4 sales area.
Now extend your material and customer master to all the 4 sales area.
Give the proper division in your material master in sales: sales org 1 tab page.
Now go to Tcode VOV8 and select your sales order type.
Check whether item division is checked or not if not then give a tick mark on item division.
Now go to Tcode VOV7 and select your item category.
Check whether business item is checked or not. It should be checked.
Please do this if still problem exist then let us know
Regards
Raj.
Dear Prashant,
Check with "Division", for all four materials (being used in to Sales Order), in to Transaction: MM02.
The Division must be either maintained as "10" or keep the fields as "blank"
Best Regards,
Amit
Note: Also, assuming that all four materials are created with Sales OrgDist.channelPlant, as being used in creation of Sales Order.
