Hi Rithvika,

It would be better to have a seperate distribution channel for the deemed exports as they are different from exports. Reasons being:

1. It would be easy to bifurcate revenues as exports and deemed exports seperately.

2. In SAP ARE-3 document is created with reference to Excise Invoice in deemed exports whereas

ARE-1 document is created in case of Exports and Third party exports.

3. In case of deemed exports ED wouldnt be added to the base price in the invoice however ED would get reflected in the excise invoice and ARE-3

4. Tax classification also varies between the customers of Exports and Deemed exports.

However you may consider having a single distribution channel for third party exports and exports.Let me know if you have any queries on this.

Regards

Joseph
