Processing of huge IDocs ...

Hi guys,

our customer has version of XI software component SAP_BASIS release 700 level 16. We need to implement new scenario on the system and we expect the huge IDocs will be receiving by XI. The customer told us that they had some problems with SAP XI in past. If some large IDoc came into the XI, it shutted down the XI. Large IDoc - it means for example IDoc with size more than 10MB. Maybe it was problem of older versions but we don't have a chance how to check it for now.

Do you have any experiences with that?

Does exist any possibility how to solve it?

Do you hear about similar problems on older versions?

First of all, the processing capabilities of XI depends upon the hardware used. You can use any of these capabilities idoc bundling, idoc packaging, use of "No Syntax Check" parameter in sxmb_adm -> integration engine configuration, idoc message control ay sender.
