Database Vault: Only for ABAP and OLTP?

Hello,

Database Vault is currently in pilot phase.

We can't find any information about OLAP and SAP-Java, the document only has remarks about OLTP and ABAP.

(and MCOD as well).

Questions:

1. Does anyone know if OLAP and SAP-Java will be supported when Database-Vault reaches GeneralAvailabilty?

2. Does anyone know when the GeneralAvailabilty is planned for? (Q1/2009 ?)

Hi Christian,

the PDF says:

u2022 SAP NetWeaver (ABAP+Java) on Linux 32bit

So that answers the Java question

Since BI 7.0 is (mainly) based on ABAP I would interpret that as yes too.

Your're absolute right:

Slide 25 answers my question.

I was getting confused by slide 61 that mentions only the user

"ABAP_CRED_MGR: account to manage SAP account password"

and i missed a JAVA-remark.
