Title appearing in German language

Hi,

When we maintain the BP for a person and assign title "Mr" system is showing Herr in the print out.

Do please guide me if any configuration is there for appearing "Mr"

wE HAVE CHECKED OUR PROGRAM AND FOUND THAT IN THE ONE OF THE FUNCTION MODULE. tO REFER THE TABLE OF TITLE IRRESPECTIVE OF LANGUAGE SYSTEM IS TAKING GERMAN AND ENGLISH

Hello,

Check the Language in the master data, is it in DE or EN? Check the Output Program and From with the help of your technical expert, he may be able to point out from where the system is picking up the language.

Hi there,

All teh details that go into the printout are defined in the smart forms. So check with your ABAPer what language the system is picking when printing the BP. Ask him to change that to EN.

Also check what field mapping is done for the BP in the O/p form layout.

Hi,

We are using SAP Script. We have checked in Se76 but original language and target language are maintained properly.

Can u specify in detail where in the SAP script it is been ,maintained

Hi,

Are you talking about Billing output? If yes we maintain customer related information in INFO or ADDRESS window.

We use VBDKR - ANRED (Title) for customer title. Even language also in same table.

Take technical consultant help, That person will identify the exact window.

Are you getting customer title only in German Language ?

Hi,

In Dev Server we dont have any issues.But in PRD the title alone is appearing In german language.

For Mr it is appearing Herr. But the name and other details are appearing correctly.

Hi,

We have looked into detail and found that in PRD and dev data is coming in two different styles:

To get Title text

it_address1[] = it_address[].

SORT it_address1 BY anred.

DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM it_address1 COMPARING anred.

LOOP AT it_address1.

MOVE it_address1-anred TO it_janred-janred.

APPEND it_janred.

ENDLOOP.

Here In it_janred the values are coming as

01 | Herr

01| Mr

But in Dev the value in it_janred is coming as

01| Mr.

This inconsistency is there in PRD.

You should check your language parameters in the output form. That's all I can say without further details.
