Generating a pop-up by pressing a button in a view of BSP (CRM 2007 WEB UI)

Hi Experts,

I have created a button in a items tab of sales order creation in CRM 2007 WEB UI and when ever that button is pressed a pop-up window should be generated.

( the pop-up window should be of table type i.e containing a 3 columns & 4 rows and a button, so that the user can enter some data and press the button the data should be replicated to the items tab).

I have added the button in BT115IT_SLSO component and follwed every procedure of creating a table type view , added the view & view set to the window , assigned the source and target view in the navigation links, added the component usage etc.

I am able to generte the pop-up but it is empty, no table view is generated and it is throwing an exception as CX_SY_DYN_ILLEGAL_METHOD.as per my understanding i am missing something while linking the pop-up view to the already existing one.

Do i need to create any custom controller,if yes could you all let me know how to do that and how to assign the controller to the new view(pop-up).

Could you all help me in resolving the issue.
