MiniSAP 6.40 CCMS Setup

I successfully installed the 6.40 NSP MiniSAP System. I do not see any CCMS alerts in RZ20.

All I get is "NSP: System is not configured"

Any ideas?.

I had the same problem (rz20 not showing any record) and I got lost in trying to configured CEN etc.

Finally I found an answer on another sdn forum thread:

Minisap is shipped with low value instance parameters in order to lower memory usage. What you need to do is rz10 on the Instance Profil (if there are none then you need to Import them using Import) and set:

1. parameter alert/MONI_SEGM_SIZE is set to 0. This would cause the CCMS shared memory not to be created.

2. parameter rdisp/autoabaptime is set to 0. This would cause the data collectors not to be started and the monitoring objects not to be created.

You also have to start once the saposcol using ST06 / Operating System Collector / Start. Then your server metrics will be collected.
