Automatic Approval of shopping cart

Hi,

The requirement is automatic approval of shopping cart after say 24 hours.

We are using n-step approval workflow.

Is this possible by deadline modelling?

And also, this automatic approval should not happen when the work item (approval of shopping cart) is with the last approver in the n-level.

Any further details required?

hi,

i am sorry , but automatic approval is not possible.

this is because all the workitems which go for approval are dialog workitems and so manual intervention is required.

if the users dont want to approve , then at least workflow administrator has to login and approve(process) on thier behalf.

deadline monitoring is used to issue notifications --> to the users when certain time is exceeded --> and so can not be used...

Hi

You can use the workflow template with No approval required .

You cannot use approval in Hours

Once the shopping basket is created and ordered . PR will be created there will

be no approval.

For Purchase order (BUS 2201 )

use WS 140000075-- Workflow without approval

For contract (BUS 200011)

Use WS 14000086 -Workflow without approval

you cannot achieve this with Deadline monitoring.

Deadline monitoring is a separate workflow functionality once the workflow is triggered within say 7days (or) no of days you have to take action against the workflow otherwise the workflow will be DEAD(it is completed)
