Field created as Text

Dear All

I have added a new field in pricing & created an acees with that field. In VK11 when i select that acess for the condition type the system is considering that field as Text. F4 is not coming

Please advise

Hi,

For the newly defined Z field you will have to define the domain range ,

Also this field need to be activated,

Pls ask your tech pesron do do that

Hi,

Good you have provided this additional information.

Was this field available in standard list or you have added it.

If this added please check relevant structure (KOMG, KOMK, KOMP) with ABAPER.

Check which data type is maintained for this field & correct the same.

This will work.

Yes as you suggested it is the problem of data type. The same i explored before with a technical consultant. But he says notes to be applied to correct it. I was not found the specific note yet.

Thank you for your response.

Actaully i have added PERNER (Personnel number field) from allowed field & trying to create an access squence based on customer/personnel number. I hav a specific requirement like this for consulting activity based on employee perosnnel number.

When i try to maintain condition records in VK11 peronnel number field is takes as text.

Please advise me how to correct this. I beleive that notes to be applied to correct this

Hi,

When you create new access sequence, you assign a condition table.

Then in the Fields structure all relevant fields are listed.

System gives message as "The field assignment has not yet been made"

Proceed further by pressing ENTER button till you get release status & processing status as OK ie it turns the status as green for each field.

Then you can save that access sequence & use it for condition types.
