Class/method to display a pop-up

Hi,

We would like to display a pop-up in a Business ADd-In (dpr_attributes). I already read several threads telling how to do this in the component controller (from wd_comp_controller). However this instance is not available in this BADI.

Does anyone know how to display a popup in another way?

I assume that this is not generally possible, because a BAdI is usually UI-independent.

Furthermore, the same BAdI implementation could be called from BSP, WebDynpro or from a batch job, and therefore, opening a WebDynpro Popup window would not make sense in all cases.

The only way to open a popup I could think of is, when a reference to the window manager or the component controller is passed to the BADI method as an importing parameter. However, this is probably not the case in your situation.
