what could be the reason a client copy in background is cancelled

I wander what could be the reason a client copy in background is cancelled each time I ran it.

In source client there is no restriction against client copy.

i created new client 401. I ran it from target client (as user sap*) in background with profile sap_allI opted simulation to check space/consistecy...

Also there is notthing in scc3

It is an IDES system

This may be due to memory problem

Stop the server

increase the space of SQL Server from Backend

Start the server

Execute DB02

IDES being a demo server may have huge amount of data. Please check if your database would support such a huge client copy..

Also refer to SAP note 997535.It may be helpful for you.

What do you mean by increase the space of SQL Server from Backend. Sorry I am new with MS SQL .

it actually got cancelled in few seconds

If it stopped that fast then it might be an issue with the RFC connection. Have you tested the connection used for the copy?

Did it make it through any of the tables?
