Hai Every one , How to deploy DC into server.

which is availble under track..

is there any procedure while deploying.

Eswar,

you need to import the track that contains the DC into NWDS.

if you make any modifications to DC it will create an activity .

go to development perspective and you will find all the activities on the right side.right click on the activity and select check in and then activate.

then go to transport view and click on release.

now go to cms and go to consolidation tab and select the activity and click on import.

make sure all the runtime systems are configured before doing these steps

its very happy to see ur responce...

but what my problem is ...

i have track in development configeration... which contain the Dcs those are developed by others..

now i want to deploy into server... how to do this ..

i have the only sdm password and hostname of server and port.

HI,

you have only sdm password and hostname of server and port..

so either you can deploy the DCs from NWDS, or using the remote GUI. from server.

1. if you have a NWDS, then

1. you need to import the track that contains the DC into NWDS.

2. say Create project for those DCs.

3. just build them.

4. mention the server hostname and port in

NWDS->windows->preferences->SAP J2EE Engine

5. then right click on DC -> development component -> deploy.

it will ask you for SDM password.

2. If you done have NWDS, but have the access of server

1. get the SCA from the track.

2. start remote GUI from server and deploy it.
