Hi

in item catgery screen there is 3 field a) business line item b) shecdule line allowed 3) determine cost that is checked if i uncheck this field wht will happen

a) Business Item

If you untick this box, in sale order, only you can change the header level datas. You cannot change any item level data

b) Schedule Line allowed

In sale order, at schedule line tab, you can see multiple schedule lines are there to enable you to maintain the deliverable quantity in different dates. You cannot maintain like that in case you untick this box

3) Determine Cost

Once you generate billing, the respective inventory cost has to be captured in FI. Only if you check this box, your billing document will be passed on to FI without any Account Determination error. The condition type for this is VPRS which should have been maintained in your pricing procedure.

Hi Mukesh,

a)Business line allowed :If you un check this field that means the business data ia same as header data.

b)Schedule line allowed:If you uncheck this that means no schedule lines are allowed for that material.In the case where delivery is required we need schedule line.Especially this case is required in the case of credit memo request etc...

c)Detemine cost:If you uncheck this the system will not detemine the cost of the item during pricing.

Have you pressed F1 help on the mentioned fileds ? they are self-explainatory themselves...
