Error during determn of backend follow-on doc

Former Member

Hi,

We are suddenly facing this error after the shopping cart has been approved:

"Error during determn of backend follow-on doc. for shopping cart xxxxxxxxx".

There are many shopping carts having the same error or they are simply as "ERROR IN PROCESS".

Can you help us, as why is this happening & how can this be resolved.

This error was not exsisting previously. We have checked all the organizational data in the structure.

We have also tried pushing them from backend but they still result in error.

The BASIS have checked the RFC connection & the logs but have found no error.

Please let me know what could be the problem & the solution for the same.

Thanks,

Bhakti.

Hi everyone,

I am closing this thread. The issue has been resolved using reports:

BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED,BBP_ALERT_SC_STATUS_ERROR.

Hi Ganseh,

Thanks alot. That transaction is helpful for tracing.

Can you also tell me what are the programs or transactions that are called, once the shopping cart is approved & it has to go to R3 for generation of PR no.

Thanks,

Bhakti

Hi Bhakti,

Try to debug this shopping cart using the FM BBP_REQREQ_TRANSFER in SE37 to find the reasons behind the error.

Also check Application Monitor--> shopping cart --> Backend application errors.

To transfer the SC again you can use the application monitor.

Thanks,

Pradeep.

Hi Bhakti

SPRO > IMG > SRM > SRM Server > Cross Application basic settings > Define objects in back end system

can you check what are the settings here?

are you in classic mode?

Are you geting all sc s for the same error? or only for particular material group only. update us.we can explore..

Note 945340 - Sourcing Cockpit: No backend error message displayed

check the above notes aplicable for you.

Are you taken this sc to soucricg cockpit.

Note 885397 - Backend PO cannot be created from the Bid Invitation

what version are you in.The above note is applicable.check it up.

explore what is the history of that errored sc.

Hi,

I have checked but the product category is not the same for the shopping carts that have resulted in ERROR IN PROCESS.

Secondly, we have not taken that shopping cart to sourcing cockpit. Hence, bidding note is not applicable.

We are using classic scenario, Version SRM 4.0

The setting for SPRO are as given below:

* * PR3CLNT700 Always external procurement Always purchase requisition

The shopping carts that have been approved at a certain time have been resulted in ERROR, as they all happen around the same time, since a few days now.

Hi,

No there are no recent changes. We tried tracking the RFC's & logs at that time but they are all running fine & logs are completed also.

KIndly suggest.

The problem is still happening, but it is not consistent. It triggers sometimes inbetween. No, we are not able to recreate it. We have tried odreing shopping carts in development client but it does not result it ERROR.
