Error while opening a query in query designer

Hello all,

There is an issue with the BEx Query Designer. A user is facing the following error while he tries to open a query using the Query Designer.

Many situation may be ...

First of all check all antivirus and firewall settings ,

you need be able "telnet 10.233.0.167 3300" ....

Are SAP up and running, are IP correct? Check all settings ..

I have checked all the settings, everything seems to be fine. Iam confused about the port 3300. The SAP is also up and running. What can be the issues with the antivirus or firewall?

3300 is standart gateway port, login in this sytem and check t-code smgw ...

Are you able telnet this port ore not? If not you can't be able to login ...

Is the problem with the port?

Due to some issues going on the server, i couldnt check the tcode now. Once the system is back, i will check and let you know.

You cant connect to gataway, may be it's down to (if you have

some issues going on the server

Actually this issue is from past many days, when the server was running fine. Just recently we got an issue due to which we had to turn down the sap. I am trying to start it and will try running the tcode and will let you know.
