Pl explain the Procedure : how to Short Close Sales Order ?

By assigning "Reason for Rejection", you can short close an open order and the status of the sale order would also be changed from "Being Processed" to "Completed". You can of course change the order quantity to delivered quantity. To achieve this,

- Go to TCode MASS,

- Input Object Type "BUS2032",

- Select "Sale Order Item Data",

- Click on "Fields" on top

- Block the field "MASSVBAP-KMPMG" and execute

- Input those open sale orders and execute

- Change the quantity and execute.

Hi

You need not change the quantity. Simply assign the reason for rejection and then the sales order will be considered as complete and delivery cannot be created with reference to this sales order.

Short closing the order is nothing but you have to assign reason for rejection at header level in Tocde VA02 and save the document. By doing this you can not process the sales order.

Am i Suppose to ammend the Qty equal to Delivered Qty ?
