JSPM timeout error

Hi:

I want to update PI7.1 from SPS06 to SPS07.

During the deployment,an error occurs:AS java is not running,pls start it and resume.

In fact,the java engine is restarting.

I tried to change the JSPM's parameters in file"jspm_config.txt":

/jspm/systemStartTimeout = 7200 ==> /jspm/systemStartTimeout = 14400000

/jspm/deployTimeout = 86400 ==> /jspm/deployTimeout = 86400000

/jspm/restartServicesDelayTime = 15000 ==> /jspm/restartServicesDelayTime = 150000

But it does not works.

Hi,

Are you sure that you have stopped all Dialog instances and SAP MMC during thsi JSPM activity?

Also if you are trying to upgrade just one component, you can give a try with SDm too.

Hi,all:

I check the JSPM log,it seems a bug of one java component.Pls take a look at notes:1170160

I changed the xml files manually.JSPM works fine.

Could you elaborate your question?

Do you mean AS Java has stopped while you were upgarding to SPS07.

Hi, ambica :

During the deployment(about 50% are deployed successfully),JSPM restarts the AS JAVA to continue the deployment.While AS JAVA is still starting, JSPM stops and raises the exception above.About 5 min later,AS JAVA starts successfully.
