Connection to hostname:50000 failed?

Hi Guys,

Thr 3740] *** ERROR => Connection request from (-1/65535/0) to host: hostname, service: 50000 failed (NIECONN_REFUSED) [icxxconn.c 2654]

[Thr 3740] *** ERROR => IcmJ2EEScheduleFunc: Connection to hostname:50000 failed - please check host configuration (-8) [icxxman.c 2286]

I am unable to start the java service from the browser and it says service unavailable.

any help would be really appreciated

Hi,

Check whether you have made the Host name entry in the path C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc.

Also check whether your local machine is installed with Java Web Start 1.4.2, which is part of J2SE 1.4.2.

Check whether you need to disable any proxy settings.

Hope basis team is clearing the logs on timely basis .

Kindly check the gateway services(smgw) and rfc's LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI are working smoothly

Have you used right port number in URL?

Java port# should be 5<Instance number>00.
