Firefighter log report

Hi,

Does Firefighter sends a log report to the controller when the FF logs out of the application?

FYI this job /VIRSA/ZVFAT_LOG_REPORT is not scheduled. Only /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK is running every hour.

Thanks

Hello R M,

Yes, Firefighter sends a log report to the controller when the FF logs out of the application.

The Send Log Report Execution Notification Immediately option specifies whether the

log reports should be delivered to the Controllers as soon as the Firefighter Background

job (/VIRSA/ZVFATBAK) is executed, or at a predefined date and time.

When set to YES, log reports are delivered to the Controller inboxes immediately.

When set to NO or not maintained, you must schedule the job by using the

/VIRSA/ZVFAT_LOG_REPORT report. Based on the job frequency, the consolidated log

reports for all the Firefighter IDs will be sent.

Would suggest you to go through the User Guide for the complete clarity on this subject, as there are 2-3 options available in it, which you need to choose.

Regards,

Hersh.

Hi Hersh

Following configuration parameters are set to YES.

FFLOGIM, FFLOGNOTI, FFNOTIM and MAIL

So the log report should be sent to controllers once the hourly /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK job completes. But this is not happening and in SOST list the mail 'FF Log Report' is not showing up.

Thanks
