No "Visual Administrator" for "EHP1 for SAP NW CE 7.1 Preview Version"?

Hi all,

I have installed the "EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 - Preview Version" but I can't find the "Visual Administrator" (go.bat).

I found a "similar" one (configtool.bat) but it don't have some functions (like "SLD Data Supplier").

Any one know if it was substitute by other function ? Or cause it is a "preview" the function doesn't exist?

Hi,

Visual Administrator is comletely removed. You carry out all the steps that were carried out on visual administartor on the portal.

http://localhost.50100/nwa

I think they have moved it on to the portal.

I accessed the "http://localhost.50100/nwa" link but found too many options.

Do you have any ideia where can I find the "old Visual Administrator" functions ? Or at least the "SLD Data Supplier" function.

I suppose i need it to create a JCO to access ABAP RFC's (BAPI's).

Hi,

if your are after SLD data supplier.

login to the portal using http://localhost:50100/nwa assuming you have installed on your pc.

goto configuration management, infrastructure, SLD data supplier configuration.
