Authentication

Hi all!

I have a strange behavior of a Web Dynpro Application. I set the authentication of an application to false. Rebuild the project. But despite this setting the logon window keeps poping up. If I enter user and password in this window nothing happens. If I set the property to true the application starts after the entering the user and password. What is here screwed up that I get this window despite setting the authentication property to false?

Try to create a new application and deploy and run that application.

Hi,

Go to your application properties for your application and delete application property that you created instead of setting it to false.

Hi,

Was it first set to true and then you turned it to false. If yes then try clearing your browser cache, it may happen that it might have cached that page for your url.

If above is not the case then I would recommened you to undeploy ur previous deployment from VA and re-deploy your application or may be a server restart.
